Relational SOMATIC THERAPy
therapy for couples & individuals
YOU DESERVE TO FEEL SUPPORTED
Therapy with me is warm, and it’s direct. You’ll find a nonjudgmental space where all of your thoughts, emotions, and beliefs are welcome, and a therapist who will also tell you what she sees. We’ll work with both your mind and your body, using somatic and attachment-based therapy to make sense of what you feel, how you connect, and why certain patterns keep showing up. The goal is to help you feel grounded and more like yourself.
COUPLES THERAPY
Sometimes the most important skill in relationships is learning how to fight. I work with couples to more clearly articulate how you’re feeling both for yourself and your partner. In sessions, I’m clear but firm. We welcome all emotions—pleasant and unpleasant ones.
My approach is both “top-down” and “bottom-up”—meaning we start from the mind and from the body. We’ll incorporate both talk therapy and somatic work to fully understand how you’re thinking and feeling.
Individual THERAPY
COUPLES and Individual THERAPIST
IN DENVER
With 10 years of clinical experience and extensive training in relationships, anxiety, trauma, and communication I use an eclectic and integrative approach. I primarily draw from sensorimotor psychotherapy, internal family systems (IFS), psychodynamic, and attachment focused theories. I bring a nuanced perspective to my work with both individuals and couples.
My style is concrete and compassionate, warm but direct. I bring a sense of humanity, humor, or tangible tools to the work. I believe your body holds as much information as your mind, and that real change happens when we listen to both.
Licensed in Colorado and California.
All genders, races, sexualities, cultures, religions and spiritual beliefs are welcome.
